Before You Change A Private Booking

Check:

  • the correct organization
  • the correct person or team
  • the correct date and time
  • the correct location and resource
  • whether the booking is one-time or recurring
  • whether changing it affects other people

If the booking belongs to someone else, confirm before editing it.

Before You Add A Location

Write down:

  • the real-world location name
  • address or internal location label
  • which teams or members should use it
  • whether it needs resources
  • whether it needs a floor plan
  • whether it is private only

Do not use the marketplace location flow for private workplace locations.

Before You Add A Resource

Write down:

  • resource name
  • location
  • capacity or purpose
  • who can book it
  • when it should be available
  • whether it appears on a floor plan

The clearer the resource name, the fewer support questions members will have later.

Good Internal Support Message Example

Hi, I need help with the private booking for Taylor on June 12. The booking is for Auckland Office - Level 4, Room 2. It should start at 10:00 AM, but the detail page shows 11:00 AM. Can you check whether the booking was created with the wrong time?

This gives an admin enough detail without sharing unrelated private data.
