  2. Choose add resource.
  3. Name the resource clearly.
  4. Add capacity or purpose if the UI supports it.
  5. Save.
  6. Create a test booking or review availability.

Good name:

Room 2 - 8 people

Example: Fix A Member Who Cannot Book

Check in this order:

  1. Is the member signed in with the correct email?
  2. Does the member belong to the organization?
  3. Can the member see the location?
  4. Can the member see the resource?
  5. Is the resource available?
  6. Is the booking time valid?
  7. Does the member need a different role or team?

Example: Review A Busy Day

  1. Open the availability dashboard.
  2. Choose the location.
  3. Check the busy time period.
  4. Open bookings for that date.
  5. Compare bookings with resources.
  6. Decide whether to add resources, change rules, or communicate with members.

Example: Prepare For SSO

Before sending users to SSO:

  • confirm the organization uses SSO
  • confirm the identity provider owner is ready
  • test with an admin account
  • confirm users know which work account to use
  • prepare support guidance for people who use the wrong email

Example: Microsoft Teams Install

  1. Confirm the correct organization.
  2. Confirm the Microsoft Teams admin or allowed user is signed in.
  3. Start the install.
  4. Complete provider steps.
  5. Return to Skedular.
  6. Open the organization inside Microsoft Teams.

If the wrong organization opens, check both the Microsoft account and Skedular account.

Example: Clean Up Confusing Resource Names

If members keep booking the wrong thing:

  1. List the resources people confuse.
  2. Compare the names with the real workplace names.
  3. Rename resources to include location, room, or capacity.
  4. Review floor plan labels.
  5. Ask a member to find the resource without help.

Clear naming prevents support work.
