Teams Admin Examples
These examples show common private organization workflows.
Example: Add A New Office
An admin needs to add a new office location.
- Open the correct organization.
- Open locations.
- Choose add private location.
- Enter a clear location name.
- Add address or internal site details.
- Save.
- Add resources for desks, rooms, or equipment.
- Review booking availability.

- Open the location detail page.
- Choose add resource.
- Name the resource clearly.
- Add capacity or purpose if the UI supports it.
- Save.
- Create a test booking or review availability.

Check in this order:
- Is the member signed in with the correct email?
- Does the member belong to the organization?
- Can the member see the location?
- Can the member see the resource?
- Is the resource available?
- Is the booking time valid?
- Does the member need a different role or team?
Example: Review A Busy Day
- Open the availability dashboard.
- Choose the location.
- Check the busy time period.
- Open bookings for that date.
- Compare bookings with resources.
- Decide whether to add resources, change rules, or communicate with members.
Example: Prepare For SSO
Before sending users to SSO:
- confirm the organization uses SSO
- confirm the identity provider owner is ready
- test with an admin account
- confirm users know which work account to use
- prepare support guidance for people who use the wrong email
Example: Microsoft Teams Install
- Confirm the correct organization.
- Confirm the Microsoft Teams admin or allowed user is signed in.
- Start the install.
- Complete provider steps.
- Return to Skedular.
- Open the organization inside Microsoft Teams.
If the wrong organization opens, check both the Microsoft account and Skedular account.
Example: Clean Up Confusing Resource Names
If members keep booking the wrong thing:
- List the resources people confuse.
- Compare the names with the real workplace names.
- Rename resources to include location, room, or capacity.
- Review floor plan labels.
- Ask a member to find the resource without help.
Clear naming prevents support work.
